As newlyweds, Martha and her husband David moved to Gainesville in the late 80s. The plan was to leave after he completed his 2 years of CPA certification, but both fell in love with this beautiful town and have made it their home for 33 years! Their two children, born at North Florida Hospital, were successful in the stellar local school system which prepared them for rigorous college studies: both earning Bachelor degrees from the University of Florida.
Martha received her BA in English and Communication from Rollins College, however her career journey has always been related to real estate. In 1988, she joined a regional bank in downtown Gainesville as a commercial loan officer with a concentration in real estate lending. Within three years, the bank was purchased by a large national bank. As Vice President, Martha’s client base of numerous residential builders and developers continued to grow as did her love for and expertise in residential properties. After spending the past 15 years as a consultant for two local developers, Martha obtained her real estate sales associate license to focus her talents and years of experience on helping her clients with their biggest investment ~ their home. Martha treats every client as if they were family and every transaction as if it were her own home.
