Born and raised in Vero Beach, Florida. Sherry grew up in a family jewelry business. Her next endeavor was at the Indian River County Tax Collector’s Office where she managed the occupational licenses, hunting & fishing licenses, and real estate taxes. After almost 15 years at the tax office she went back to school. Sherry graduated from UCF with a degree in Civil Engineering. The next 9 years were at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection in Orlando as a wastewater permitting engineer. After moving to Gainesville, Sherry married her husband John, and took a couple of years off while settling into her new home. Through a program at Santa Fe College for individuals over 50 Sherry was sent to interview with Jennifer. Jennifer needed someone part-time, experienced, and reliable and Sherry was looking for administrative work this time around with some flexibility. Sherry has learned a lot while relying on her past experiences to get the job done. When Sherry is not at the office, she likes spending time with her family which now includes a precious grandson. She also enjoys canning, cooking, crafting, reading, attending UF sports, traveling, and spending time with friends.
